Bonus Hour

When these two forces collided, tom likened it to having Superman and Batman in the studio at the same time. And it was damn near close to that when we were joined by two of our all time favorites, Heywood Banks and Tim Wilson. We got a few new stories out of Tim, a few classics out of Heywood, and some more grim headlines from Tom. Oh, and we were also excited to get a visit from Andi Smith. This was the first time she'd been through town since becoming a new mom!

Tim Wilson

For years comedian, songwriter and philosopher, Tim Wilson has been joining us on the air and in that time has treated us to a number of classic tunes such as My Brother In-Law, I Could Be Wrong and Church League Softball Fistfight. And though he's one of our most frequent guests, it's still an adventure every time he stops by, thanks in part to his uncanny ability to find a story to go along with any topic of conversation. But as a warning, if you're even talking to Tim, try to avoid mentioning The Bible, NASCAR, credit cards or Jimmy Carter. In other news, Tim turned author and wrote a book about serial killer Ted Bundy which is now on sale. Pick up your copy of Happy New Year - ted today.

Heywood Banks

Anyone who has ever spent any time listening to the BOB&TOM show has no doubt heard a song by legendary comedian Heywood Banks. That’s because Heywood’s catalogue of classic tunes includes fan favorites like "Big Butter Jesus," "I Like Summer," "Toast," "18 Wheels on a Big Rig," "Punjab" and "Wiper Blades" just to name a few. In fact, Heywood has appeared on 36 of BOB&TOM’s comedy albums, more than any other artist by far. We’ve just been informed that Heywood may be adding to his already extensive list of songs when he visits us next. Now we’re just hoping he knows the lyrics. Check out Heywood in "GeoPirates."

Andi Smith

Described as being both "the girl next door" and "the girl who hates the girl next door", Andi Smith often surprises audiences with her funny and original perspective on life. Original and entertaining, Smith can find humor in everything from growing up in Wisconsin to ugly belts. Andi was a finalist on season five of Last Comic Standing, has appeared on Live at Gotham and recently released her first CD, Home Perm. Follow Andy on twitter an facebook.
