Whether talking about cake, bacon, wearing robes, or getting sick from eating hot pockets, Jim Gaffigan is one of the funniest men in America. Not only is he one of our favorite guests, he's also been a regular on Conan O'Brien's show, has appeared on a number of sitcoms and has released a number of fantastic comedy specials, including the new one available for download on his website, "Mr. Universe." Jim Gaffigan is currently on a cross-county tour so make sure to check out his website for upcoming show dates and locations, and pre-order his new book, Dad is Fat. Follow Jim on twitter and facebook.
A former stand-up comedian, Bill Scheft decided a number of years ago that he preferred writing the jokes to telling them. That's what's made him such a valuable asset to "The Late Show w/ David Letterman," where he's one of the head writers for Dave's famous opening monologues. He also contributed to the new book, The Late Show Fun Facts, authored by Letterman and the other Late Show writers. But this isn't Bill's only published work, he's also the author of three novels, The Ringer, Time Won't Let Me, and Everything Hurts (with a fourth novel, Shrink Thyself, on the way in April). His newest book is The Final Four of Everything. Check out Bill's band, The Truants. Follow Bill Scheft on twitter. And if you're a golf fan, you'll enjoy this book Bill put together of stories collected from his Uncle about The Masters.
