Joe Bonamassa
He's Got the BluesAlready developing a reputation as one of the world’s greatest guitar players, Joe Bonamassa is also evolving into a charismatic blues-rock star and singer-songwriter. With the release of his new album The Ballad of John Henry (his ninth solo project and seventh studio album) Bonamassa has upped his game by mixing British Blues and Delta sounds while at the same time showing off his vocal range. Joe began his career in the early 90s with the rock-blues group Bloodlines, but has since gone on to a successful solo career. He was named Guitar Player’s “Best Blues Guitarist” in 2007 and 2008, has hit #1 on the Billboard Blues charts and received a 2008 nod for Album Of The Year from the U.K.’s prestigious Classic Rock Roll Of Honour Awards. Joe also recently released the brand new DVD Joe Bonamassa Live From Royal Albert Hall. Dwight Slade
Dwight Slade isn't just a comedian, he's also the voice of the little man, sticking it to 'the man' and scoring a little payback for all of life's daily humiliations. Slade began his comedy crusade in Portland, working with the legendary Bill Hicks, but has since made a name for himself headlining comedy clubs, hosting his own radio show and releasing a number of comedy albums, including his new double DVD, Right & Raunch. Follow Dwight on twitter and facebook. Dan St. Paul
If you've heard his piece The First Baseball Game, you've probably guessed that comedian Dan St. Paul is a huge baseball fan. But outside the ballpark, he's also a suburban husband and father who has to deal with the same daily frustrations as everyone else. The only difference being that while others just complain about their problems, Dan uses his as fodder for stand-up comedy. Dan St. Paul is a member of the Stand-Up Dads comedy tour, and has been featured on a number of BOB&TOM All-Stars shows. Jon Reep
If you don’t recognize comedian Jon Reep from his appearance on Star Search or his Super Bowl Sierra Mist spot, then you’re probably scratching your head wondering where you’ve seen his face before. Unless of course you read the headline above, in which case you'll realize that he was the redneck from those extremely popular Dodge Ram commercials driving the beat-up car asking the now famous question, “That thing got a Hemi?” But even before all this Hemi fame came about, Reep was selling out standup comedy shows all across the country. People everywhere flocked to see Reep for a few simple reasons; he’s funny, he’s hip and he’s the best southern redneck dancer since “The King.” Oh, and he might be able to get you a good deal on a truck. Follow Jon on twitter. Duke Tumatoe
NFL action is in full swing and so too is Duke Tumatoe. He and the boys are back again on Wednesday to sing another edition of The NFL Song. Each week promises all new football action on Sunday which means Duke will constantly have something new to sing about. So stay tuned all season long as he keeps us up to speed on the ins and outs of the NFL. Remember, they're not booing, they're chanting DUKE DUKE DUKE!
